Services

We not only promise to deliver beautiful landscaping, but that you will never have to worry about clean-up. We leave every site immaculate. We are bonded and insured.

Our Services Include:

 TURF CARE

MOWING & TRIMMING            
    
To be performed at a rate necessary to maintain lawns in a neat and professional manner.  The mowing height will be at 3”, with the cutting schedule to remove 1/3 of the grass blade.  Grass clippings that land on any cement or paved areas will be blown off, taking care that lawn edges and mulched areas are free from build up.  Using a nylon-string, mechanical trimmer, all grass adjacent to buildings fences, light poles, etc. will be trimmed to the same height as lawn areas.

An adjustment per cutting will be made if a greater number of occurrences are required.  Should a lesser number of cuttings be used, a similar credit shall be applied to mutually greeable services to be performed during the contract period.

 

 

EDGING
    All cement walks and driveways will be power edged.  Walls and driveway edges will be left with a clean appearance, taking care that lawn edges are free from grass build up.

CURB EDGING
    All street curbs will be edges eight times during the season (on average, every third cut).  The Curbs will be left with a clean appearance taking care that lawn edges are free from grass build up.

CORE AERATION
    Removal of soil cores.  This service provides better root penetration, increased air and water pockets and allows more efficient water and nutrient uptake.  In addition, it helps reduce thatch & soil compaction.
 

 

FERTILIZATION

LAWN SPRAY ROUND 1

    Fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass controls, and post-emergent weed control 

 

LAWN SPRAY ROUND 2

    Fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass controls, post-emergent weed controls, and surface feeding insect control.

LAWN SPRAY ROUND 3
    Iron, surface feeding insect control as needed and post-emergent weed control as needed.

BEDDING PLANTS

 

BED PREP. ANNUALS FLOWERS

    All flowerbed areas will be cultivated to the appropriate depth, and soil amendments will be added prior to planting.

 

ANNUAL FLOWER INSTALLATION

    Installation of annual flowers will commence after the threat of any late frost.  Types of flowers selected shall be selected for normal site conditions.

 

ANNUAL FLOWER MAINTENANCE

    All flower bed areas will be maintained with proper fertilization, insect and disease control applications to provide an aesthetically pleasing flower display.

 

ANNUAL FLOWER REMOVAL

    Annual flowers will be removed at the end of the season or when the flowers decline.

 

FLOWER BULB INSTALLATION

    Tulips of your choice will be planted during the month of November to fill all annual beds.  Bulbs to be planted per specifications for depth and spacing.

 

FLOWER BULB REMOVAL

    Bulbs will be removed after flowers have declined in the spring.

           

FALL FLOWER INSTALL

    Installation of Chrysanthemums or Pansies should occur between September 15th and October 15th.

 

FALL FLOWER REMOVAL

    Fall flowers will be removed prior to the installation of spring bulbs or when the flowers decline.

 

LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE

 

BED MAINTENANCE

    All mulched areas will be treated with post-emergent controls to prevent weed build up.  Hand pulling will occur if necessary.  This will be done throughout the growing season.  This service will be billed in eight equal monthly installments.

 

BED PRE-EMERGENT

    Bed pre-emergent materials will be supplied to all mulched areas to prevent weed seed germination.

 

MULCHING

    All mulched beds will be brought up to or maintained at depth of approximately 3”.

 

MULCH CULTIVATION

    All mulch beds and tree rings will be cultivated for a fresh appearance.

 

BED EDGE

    All mulched beds and tree rings will be edged.

 

SHRUB & TREE CARE

 

TRIMMING & PRUNING

    This task will be performed as stated on all shrubs in healthy condition.  Shrubs that are in major decline, and/or have been damaged over more that 1/3 and are considered unproductive are not included in this proposal.

 

    Shrub Pruning-Shrubs will be pruned to maintain good shape and to remove dead damaged or unproductive branches. Shrubs will be pruned at the proper time of year to maximize natural color.  Any shrubbery requiring special equipment suck as a high-lift truck or that cannot be properly trimmed using an 8’ stepladder are not covered in this proposal.

 

    Formal Hedges- All formal hedge rows shall be sheared to maintain a tight formal appearance.  Hedges are defined as “two or more plants in a row.”

 

WINTER TREE PRUNE

    All trees up to 8” in diameter will be pruned once per season when dormant, (late fall & winter) to eliminate dead, damaged, or unproductive branches.  Branches that obstruct walks or roadways, and sucker growth will be removed.  Any trees requiring special equipment such as high-lift trucks or ladders are not covered in this proposal.  Tree pruning may occur in January or February of the following calendar year.

 

TREE SPRAY 1ST INCSECT & DISEASE

    After an examination of all plant material, an application will be applied to help prevent damaging insect populations and slow the spread of disease.

 

TREE SPRAY 2ND (I & D)

    Again, a thorough examination of landscape plants will be done.  An application will be applied to control bagworms and other chewing insects as well as disease problems.

 

TREE SPRAY 3RD (I & D)

    A final inspection and application of insect and disease control.  This application is designed to take care of bagworms and mites.  Also, an inspection is made to look for problems such as drought damage or stress.

 

TREE SPRAY DEEP ROOT FERT.

    A balance, slow release fertilizer will be injected for all trees up to 8” in diameter once in Fall to promote health and vigor of tree and provide healthy growth to start the year.
